COOL MID-CENTURY MODERN VIBE
Inspired by the period drama, Mad Men, our studio took our clients’ vision to the next level for their pied-à-tere located in Arlington, VA. We mixed new, vintage and original furniture pieces defined by coolness and relaxed vibes that gives the spaces a lounge like atmosphere appropriate for hosting cocktail parties and gatherings.
Working with the condo building’s existing concrete architecture from the 1970s, our studio incorporated contemporary technology and materials to accommodate modern conveniences and needs. LED strip lighting embedded into walls and crown moldings allowed for additional illumination of spaces without intrusive work to the concrete structure. Installation of sound absorbing wood slat panels and cork flooring dampens sound transmissions and echo in the space.
