He received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas (Manila, Philippines) and a Masters of Science in Historic Preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (Chicago, Il.). He is a registered architect and certified interior designer. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and American Society of Interior Designers.
